Pricing

Priced by the people you are responsible for

You pay for protected people — the ones whose safety is on you. Everyone who watches, takes a turn on call or answers a page is free, and there is no limit on them: a roster you trimmed to save money is the one failure this product cannot afford.

Paying annually gives you 2 months free on every tier.

What would it cost us?

Count the people whose safety is on you. Everyone who watches, takes a turn on call or answers a page is free and is not counted here.

Your band
11–25 workers
$17 per worker / month
on annual billing
Billed monthly
$510
a month
Billed annually
$5,100
a year — 2 months free

The band rate applies to every worker on the account, not only the ones past the threshold: all 25 of them at this rate, rather than some at one rate and the rest at another.

The whole curve, published

The rate for a band applies to every protected worker on the account, not only the ones past the threshold — an account anywhere inside a band pays that band's rate for all of its workers, never some at one rate and the rest at another. Figures are per protected worker per month on annual billing.

Volume bands per protected worker, by tier
Protected workers Lone Worker Duty of Care
1–10 workers $19 $29
11–25 workers $17 $26
26–50 workers $15 $23
51–100 workers $13 $20
101–250 workers $11 $17
251–500 workers $9.50 $14
501–1,000 workers $8 $12
1,001+ workers By quote By quote

Paying monthly costs 12/10 of the figures above — that is not a surcharge anybody applies, it is 2 months free on annual billing read from the other side.

The same machinery on every tier

Nothing about how an alert is raised, escalated or acknowledged changes with what you pay. Sources, on-call schedules, escalation, the phone and desktop apps and the timeline are the product; what the tiers change is how many people you are covering and whether anyone outside your safety team has to see the system.

What we do not sell you

There is no service level agreement at this version, and we would rather write that here than leave you to infer it. AlertRoster delivers on a best-effort basis over networks, carriers and push services we do not control, and no tier changes that. When an SLA exists it will be a contract with numbers in it, not a line on a pricing page.

AlertRoster is a call-out notification and escalation tool. It is not an emergency service. It contacts one for you only through automatic SOS on a Garmin inReach, which Garmin Response receives. It should be one of your arrangements, never the only one.

Changing tier

Move up or down whenever the number of people you are responsible for changes. Paging does not stop because of a billing change — an alert that goes undelivered over an invoice would be the worst thing this product could do.

Not sure which one fits?

Tell us how many people you are responsible for and who watches them. We will tell you which tier that is, including when it is the cheapest one.
